I would not be who I am today.
I could not understand someone else’s pain.
I can relate to the shame.
I’ve been in deep, Lost sleep, Cried and screamed.
Even felt crazy.
Who would I be? If I did NOT understand, What my sins taught me.
I would not be who I am today.
I could not understand someone else’s pain.
I can relate to the shame.
I’ve been in deep, Lost sleep, Cried and screamed.
Even felt crazy.
Who would I be? If I did NOT understand, What my sins taught me.
Wow! What an Awesome poem!!! I so love the thought and the wisdom to know that we are the totality of who we were in the past, but with an opportunity to change and be better is we chose.
I always laugh when I here someone ask the question, “What would you change in your past if you could?” My instant answer is “Nothing”. Every moment, footstep, mistake and, as you say “sin” has lead me into the wonderful life and marriage I have. If even one step or moment was changed I would have missed my Beloved!!

Yes, I am very blessed to have found “An Angel”!!! I always cringe when I hear a bell ring and worry she has finally earned her wings!!!
